Eyes

Aesthetic surgery offers convenient ways of having a more open expression, smoother wrinkles and a rejuvenation of the entire area around the eyes.

Objective of the intervention:

The temple lift opens the expression, repositioning the eyebrows while unfolding the area where crows’ feet form. The lateral sides of the forehead at the temples significantly influence the curve and height of our eyebrows. The procedure corrects drooping of the end of the eyebrow and lifts out crows’ feet, which has a dramatic effect on the expression of the face. Frequently, it is drooping at the temple which makes the face look heavy around the eyes. This process also causes the eyelids to droop. Carried out with endoscopic assistance, this surgical procedure restores a youthful expression and harmonious contours. In particular, men and women in their forties find this rejuvenating procedure increasingly attractive.

The operation:

The temple lift is undertaken in hospital or day clinic. The incisions are discreet, hidden in the hair. The skin is lifted up and drawn towards the top and the sides stretched towards the scalp, without cutaneous resection. The incisions are delicately sutured and the stitches removed after about a week.

Risks:

The operation has few after-effects and the patient’s indisposition is minimal. Sometimes a light pressure can be noted at the temple level, with transitory headaches and a passing loss of sensation of the lifted parts. However, this rapidly passes. In rare cases, a hematoma can occur, accompanied by a small swelling.
