Expression lines

Expression lines are creases and wrinkles generally located on the forehead (frown lines), at the corner of the eyes (crows’ feet) and around the mouth. With Botox treatment these wrinkles disappear rapidly.

The operation:

The medical use of Botulinum Toxin involves injecting it through ultra-thin needles into the facial muscles responsible for the formation of wrinkles, on the forehead, for example, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. A relaxation of the facial lines is obtained, while still preserving the mobility of the facial expression. The lines relax visibly, losing their severity. The forehead becomes smooth, frown lines and crows’ feet are visibly reduced. The face relaxes and recovers a most natural appearance.

Risks:

Complications are extremely rare: potential small discolorations may appear (ecchymosis) that resolve after a few days. A more pronounced loosening of a treated area may lead to a temporary imbalance in the face or an eyelid drooping.
